Aurora Over the Granites
Granite Range, Alaska
An almost unbelievably large display of the aurora borealis covers a significant portion of the night sky in this image of the Granite Range of Alaska. Taken through a 24mm lens, this shot is deceptively wide; the mountains were only a few miles in front of me, giving a sense of just how vast this display was.
