This unique photo resulted from a combination of sand, snow, and the sun's heat at Great Sand Dunes National Park. The night before I took this, the park received a half inch of snow. Some of the snow melted into the sand, then refroze. Wind then deposited another thin layer of sand on top of the snow. The next morning, sunlight melted the snow it reached (on the right side) while the snow, sand, and now-frozen water created the fascinating lines on the left. Photo © copyright by Chris Ridgway.

HD Metal Prints are also surprisingly light and easy to hang with the included cleat and level. Options include matte or gloss finish; if you expect to hang your image near a bright window, consider matte for reduced glare. Mount options include a flush silver or black side, as well as a recessed aluminum float mount (floating 3/4" off the wall).
